Clara
Na Clara is situated at six kilometres from Colònia de Sant Pere. The name which means clear in English- describes the transparency of the water, hidden under the thickness of the pine trees and the cliffs that reach s'Atalaia Freda at 562 metres, the highest of Serres de Llevant, with a breathtaking panoramic view over Majorca. This beach has stones, pebbles and enormous boulders with fine-grained brilliant sand on a steep coast. This piece of coastline can be defined as virgin paradise, you may swim in crystal clear water and touch a sandy ground that continues for hundreds of metres toward the sea. The marine and underwater conditions are good for anchoring boats, although you will have to keep a reasonable distance from the coast if the wind blows from the west, northwest, north, northeast and east. The depth ranges from three metres at 150 metres from the coast to 1,5 metres at half a hectometre. The nearest port facilities are located at Club Nàutic Colònia de Sant Pere, at 1,5 nautical miles. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs until es Caló, where the quality of the road is not so good. You can park your private car for free in the surroundings. The last 200 metres to this natural environment have to be done on foot on a trail toward left which descends and takes you to na Clara, but the access for disabled is impossible. These characteristics explain that the beach is not crowded at all by local visitors. Information about this beach may change.
