Port Caletas
Port de ses Caletes is situated at 3,2 kilometres from Sant Vicent de sa Cala, located between Punta Nin del Corb and d'en Serra, as well as below the Puig de sa Fita (309 metres high). This sea inlet finishes on a very small beach with a surface of gravel and golden pebbles. On the sides you can see high cliffs with a thick pine wood on the top. The slope is also quite steep (at 25 metres from the coast there is a depth of two metres). This virgin bay is exposed to the wind from the northwest-north-northeast, which can be dangerous when the air current come from the north and it is the perfect shelter when the wind blows from the east. You are recommended to anchor in the largest area, on a sandy ground at a depth that ranges from nine to 18 metres. The small boats can also anchor near the coast, with a depth that ranges from four to seven metres on a sandy and rocky ground. You have to be careful with the emerging rocks. The water is crystal clear and the ground is beautiful so that this beach, which is not very crowded, is the perfect place for diving. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and the deviations and the last part has to be done on a very steep and sinuous track with no visibility at all. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. Information about this beach may change.
