S'Estanyol
Platja de s'Estanyol is situated at two kilometres from Sant Antoni de Portmany, located between Punta des Molí and Cala Pinet, as well as next to the port and the nautical club of this village, with all the facilities for navigators. This beach is the first stretch of coast which belongs to Sant Josep de sa Talaia. This urban coastal area is characterized by having a small size, the beach has quite fine-grained white sand, the slope is very gentle (at 50 metres from the coast there is a depth of 1,5 metres), there is nearly no wind at all, so that this beach is very recommended for small children and elderly people, with a sandy ground, although there are also areas with seaweed in the interior of the bay of Sant Antoni, crystal clear water which invites to dive on the surface, there is a small pine wood, some palm trees and touristy buildings in the surroundings, and there are two small sea inlets. From this beach you can reach the track which sometimes is a trail, toward Port des Torrent. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and the deviations. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. You can also reach this beach with the public transport. The nearest bus stop is located at one hectometre. These characteristics explain that the beach is very crowded by local visitors and tourists. Information about this beach may change.
