Cala Millor Sant Llorenç
Cala Millor is situated at three kilometres from Son Servera and is also known as Son Moro and Cala Nau. This coastal area is very touristic, full of hotels since the eighties of the 20th century and it is one of the best most crowded places in Majorca, and one of the most populars in western Europe. This beach is characterized by the large sandy area, white and fine-grained, with blue, transparent water and posidonia meadows, dolphins might be seen and you can dive and windsurf. Cala Millor is adjacent to the municipality of Son Servera on the north-eastern part. From its 1.800 metres in length, 1.320 belong to the municipality of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar and the rest belongs to the adjacent Son Servera. This beach is open to the sea and it becomes dangerous for anchoring boats and bathing when the wind blows from the east. Nevertheless, if the navigator wants to anchor his boat in this bay he will do so on a sandy ground, the depth ranges from four to five metres in front of the coast. The nearest port facilities are located at Port Esportiu de Cala Bona, at 0,9 nautical miles. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs. There is also a bus service, the nearest bus stop is at half a hectometre from this sandy area. the easy accessibility and these characteristics explain that the beach is very crowded by local visitors and tourists.
