S'Illa Des Bosch
S'Illa des Bosc i es Pas de s'Illa des Bosc is situated at 3,3 kilometres from Sant Miquel de Balansat, located between Caló des Moltons and Punta de sa Ferradura, as well as below the Torre des Molar (97 metres high, a tower which was finished in 1756). This beautiful virgin beach belongs, together with Port de Balansat and Caló des Moltons, to the coast that is closed by the deep sea inlet between Punta Blanca and de sa Ferradura, as well as the illots Bernat and des Bosc. The beach of es Pas de s'Illa des Bosc is the union, through a sandy stretch, between s'Illa des Bosc (where there is a rural finca) and Eivissa on a cliff. It has a beach on both sides, toward the interior and the exterior of the sea inlet, both used for bathing. The interior area, toward Port de Sant Miquel, has a beach covered by quite fine-grained golden sand with gravel and pebbles, which is the most frequented (but not crowded). The external area is characterized by the rocks and pebbles, a continuous swell and it is less frequented. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and the deviations. The last 1,5 kilometres have to be done on a very steep track in bad conditions. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. These characteristics explain that the beach is not very crowded by tourists. Information about this beach may change.
